At Marpa Vacuum, SL we process the personal data you provide to us through this website in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, de Protección de Datos Personales y garantía de los derechos digitales (Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, LOPDGDD). This policy explains what data we process, why, for how long and what rights you have.

2. What data we process

  • Data you provide in our forms (contact, request for information or a quotation, and application to become a distributor): name, company, email address, telephone number, country and the content of your message.
  • Data you provide by email, telephone or WhatsApp when you contact us through these channels.
  • Browsing data obtained through cookies and similar technologies, as explained in our Cookie policy.

Please do not provide us with third parties’ data without their consent, or with special categories of data (for example, health data).

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Responding to your enquiries and requests for information or quotations and, where applicable, managing the business relationship. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract and performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for general enquiries, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Managing applications to become a distributor. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Sending you commercial information about our products and services when you are a customer or have requested it. Legal basis: legitimate interest and Article 21 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI) in the case of customers, or your consent. You may object at any time.
  • Measuring the use of the website and the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (Google Analytics, Google Ads and LinkedIn). Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Protecting the forms against spam and abuse (Google reCAPTCHA). Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Retention period

We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to respond to them and follow them up commercially, and for a maximum of two years from the last contact if no business relationship is established. If you become a customer, we will keep your data for the duration of the relationship and, thereafter, for the periods required by tax and commercial legislation and the limitation periods for any potential liabilities. 5. Recipients and data processors

We do not disclose your data to third parties unless required by law. To provide our services we use providers that process data on our behalf, with whom we have signed the corresponding agreements:

  • Web hosting: Wetopi (European Union).
  • Form management: Basin (usebasin.com), based in the United States.
  • Analytics, advertising and security: Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads and reCAPTCHA) and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (LinkedIn Insight Tag).
  • Digital marketing agency that manages the website and campaigns on behalf of Marpa Vacuum.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified under it, or by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw any consent given at any time, by writing to info@marpavacuum.com or to our postal address, stating the right you wish to exercise. If you believe that we have not processed your data correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our services. We recommend that you check it periodically; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
