Founded in 1996 in Terrassa, Barcelona, Marpa Vacuum S.L. is a company specialised in vacuum technology, from low vacuum to ultra-high vacuum. Marpa Vacuum offers a wide range of vacuum pumps, designs and sizes installations and supplies a wide range of spare parts and services for maintenance and repairs.

Our history

1996

Birth of the company

  • Mr Palau and Mr Martínez establish the company. Together with four employees, they begin repairing the entire range of vacuum pump technologies and brands.

2010

Expansion of the product range

  • The company moves from a business dedicated solely to repairing vacuum pumps, to producing its own vacuum pumps. Collaboration with international manufacturers begins. Starting in this year, the company's business lines are pump sales, pump repair and consumables sales.

2012

International expansion

  • The second decade of the 2000s sees us focus our efforts on international expansion as we venture into countries such as Portugal, France and Italy.

2014

Lyophilisation

  • The company broadens its horizons by entering the world of lyophilisation.

2016

Physical vapour deposition

  • The company continues to expand its scope of business and inaugurates a branch in Castellón. At the same time, the company undertakes physical vapour deposition, looking to make decorative coatings on ceramic pieces. We begin working with customers such as Porcelanosa.

2018

We're manufacturers

  • After many years of hard work, we finally establish ourselves as a manufacturer. The company takes over the Subirana linear piston air pump line. These pumps are ideal for chemical processes where the job calls for suctioning contaminant gases. Being able to call itself a manufacturer is the best cover letter for the company.
