MVP Series

The Marpa Vacuum MVP series is the most affordable solution for dry-running vacuum pumps. The pumps do not require oil, are air-cooled, generate a good level of vacuum and feature a compact design. Because they are air-cooled, they are easy to use and do not require water for cooling. Furthermore, the pumps are direct driven and, therefore, do not need belts.

Operating principle

The operating principle of vacuum pumps and piston compressors is based on a piston moving alternately inside a cylinder. The cylinder is equipped with valves that suck in air before expelling it outside. Unlike diaphragm pumps, the piston pump chamber is not completely sealed and, thus, does not guarantee a perfect seal in the circuit.
